The Missouri Search and Rescue Council is dedicated to helping save lives by assisting in the advancement of Search and Rescue through promotion of standards, educational seminars and advancements in Search and Rescue techniques.

To act as a resource center by providing a data source for mission ready search personnel and equipment on a statewide basis.

To promote communications among SAR personnel and organizations in the state.
